Amanda Tortorige,

Amanda Tortorige, MS, LPC-S, LCPC, IMH-E
LCPC in Illinois, LPC-S in Alaska, LPC in Georgia

Originally from the South, but having lived abroad and most recently in Alaska, Amanda has been practicing counseling for over a decade. Her professional background is in outdoor adventure and summer camp – she has a lot of experience with kids and families using play and adventure for growth and change. As a counselor, Amanda is trained in Play Therapy, Adventure Therapy, Child Parent Psychotherapy, and is endorsed as an Infant Mental Health Specialist. She is licensed in Georgia, Alaska, and Illinois and is also a clinical supervisor. Amanda has worked in community clinics and nonprofits and is excited to serve the Quincy community at Mindshift Center. Amanda's style is person-centered, developmentally minded, relationship-focused, playful and relaxed. She will collaborate with you and your child to identify the roots of the challenges you're experiencing, develop and practice skills to improve your functioning, and heal from the inside out. In her spare time Amanda can be found outside riding her bike, hiking and climbing mountains, hanging around airplanes, and playing with her two kids and elderly (but still spunky!) dog.
