About Anne
Anne Vahle is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois with 19 years of clinical experience. She holds a Master of Science in Education in Counseling from Quincy University and is a member of the American Counseling Association.
She is trained in EMDR, SPARCS, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and her work also draws on attachment-based and strength-based approaches alongside cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).
How Anne Works
Anne integrates EMDR and trauma-focused therapy with attachment-based and strengths-based approaches. Rather than using one approach with every client, she considers your concerns, experiences, strengths, and goals when determining where to begin and what may be most helpful.
Areas of Focus
- Trauma and PTSD
- Anxiety
- EMDR-focused treatment
- Perfectionism in high-achieving adults
- ADHD
Approach to Care
Anne often works with adults who appear highly capable on the outside but feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck. She provides a supportive space to slow things down, better understand what you’re experiencing, and recognize patterns that may no longer be working for you.
Her approach is collaborative and practical, helping you build on your strengths while making changes that are meaningful to you.
