Our Therapists

Dr. Angel Knoverek

Angel Knoverek, Ph.D, LCPC, ACS, is an international trainer who has been working with children, adolescents, adults, and their families for over 23 years. Dr. Knoverek currently owns and operates Mindshift Center, LLC, which includes a private counseling practice as well as training, consultation, and evaluation for individuals and organizations across the country. She is an Assistant Professor at Culver-Stockton College in the psychology department and is Visiting Clinical Faculty at Adams State University in the masters and doctorate Counselor Education Program.

Anne Vahle

Anne is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois. She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology at Quincy University. She attended Loyola University Chicago and Quincy University to earn her Master’s Degree in Community Counseling. Anne has over eleven years of professional experience working with adults, children, and families as they move through difficult times in their lives. Anne has worked in inpatient, outpatient, residential, and school settings. She has had the honor to work with individuals and families while addressing substance abuse, family relationships, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, and attachment difficulties. She has been active in education and community outreach as well.
